Valentine’s Day Craft Ideas

We love getting crafty here at Beanstalk Keepsakes HQ and Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to make some heart felt gifts for our loved ones.

I love going to Pinterest to look for ideas and inspiration and have pulled together a board for you to make searching for the perfect Valentine’s Day craft.

I have also put my top 5 below and of course they feature hand and footprints 🙂

Hand and Footprint Love Canvas

You could quite easily do this on a large piece of paper or a canvas. Grab the red paint, your little one and go for it. I love that it’s a personalised piece of art and also a little keepsake of those tiny hands and feet.

Cut Out Hand Card

I don’t know about you but my little ones love drawing around their hands at the moment so we shall definitely be re-creating this one. It’s really simple to do . Fold a piece of paper or card in half, draw around the hand, cut out and decorate with hearts.

Hand and Footprint Heart Poem

This ones is a lovely one to do if you have a baby or small toddler. Buy a nice A4 sized frame and it’s a perfect gift for Mummy or Daddy on Valentine’s Day. I have even made it super easy for you and have created a print out for you to download and print at home. Just download it here.

Date Night Jar

Love this idea. Write down different date ideas on a stick or piece of paper, place it in a jar and get a babysitter in once a month. The fun is then choosing a date and random and reliving those dates you used to have before kids. It’s so hard to remember to take time out as a couple when you have little ones but it’s so important to keep that spark alive. I will definitely be giving this one a go.

Heart Fingerprint Tree

Another simple idea using prints. This one is using fingerprints – your own or your little ones. You can find out how to do this by following the link above.

So what will you be making for Valentine’s Day this year? Let me know in the comments below or come and visit my Facebook page and post a pic of your efforts.
